Obituary of Marlene Ann Sipes

Bedford – Marlene Ann Sipes, 76, of Bedford, passed away at 8:24 pm on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Majestic Care in Bedford. Born January 25, 1948, in Pidgeon, MI, she was the daughter of Roy and Mary (Miller) Reed. She married Charles Mike Sipes on September 9, 1972. She was a department manager for Walmart. Survivors include children, Tim Banks (Judy) of Buddha, Jeremy Sipes, of Bedford, Amber Cleary (Sean), of New York, NY, Chris Banks, of Bedford and Scott Sipes, of NC; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Donna Courtney and Dawn Reed. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 17th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Jeff Hauersperger officiating. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, September 16th and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Tuesday, September 17th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
