Had her as a business teacher at Tunnelton, She taught so many of us how to type and conduct business in ethical and correct ways as she knew we would later need the skills to get along in life. Definitely a servant of education and advocate for learning. She also taught us how to conduct ourselves professionally and as future leaders. Definitely a genuine person who had a big impact on so many lives. Blessings to her family.

Mitchelene was a huge influence in my life. I looked forward to hearing her play the piano every Sabbath at church. She played so beautifully!!! Every time I would sing at church she would play for me. She would always tell me how beautiful I sung. I love her very much. She was a very sweet, wonderful, Christian woman. She will be deeply missed. My condolences to her family.

Mr and Mrs Huffman and their sons, Michael and Marcus were my next door neighbors in Mitchell when I was growing up. Mike might remember my maiden name was Fortner. Many years later, they often came into Applacres where I worked as cashier. I always enjoyed talking with them. They were the sweetest couple. I have very fond memories of them. Mrs Huffman was my teacher at Tunnelton. Definitely one of the best of her profession. She was a sweet, gentle spirit that touched so many of us. My sincerest sympathy to the family at this difficult time. Be blessed in knowing how much she was loved and appreciated
