Obituary of Laura K. Lawrence

Bedford – Laura K. Lawrence, 88, of Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Westview Nursing and Rehab. Born December 24, 1935, in Catlin, IL, she was the daughter of Alman L. and Helen (Bates) Hall. She retired as a bank teller at Midwest Bank in Danville, IL. She was a member of the Hillcrest Christian Church and loved Illinois basketball and Chicago Cubs. Survivors include two sons, Tim Snack and wife, Crystal, of Bedford, Mark Snack and wife, Lisa, of Denison, TX; two daughters, Becky Young and companion, Chuck Jenkins, of Sidney, IL, Lisa Hamilton and husband, Jim, of Odgen, IL; grandchildren, Brandon Snack and wife, Maggi, Kaci Grimes and husband, Craig, Jeremiah Young and wife, Hannah, Katherine Young and wife, Kelsey, Ethan Fridmanski and wife, Amity, Betsy Overshiner and husband, Shane; 12 Great-grandchildren, Colton, Triniti, Jase, Brody, Ellah, Mady, Kaylin, Haylee, Shelby, Ava, Teddy, and Kaye; a brother, Donnie Hall and wife, Sonna; a sister, Deborah Todden and husband, Kevin; a special cousin, Marjorie Lucas and her late husband, Rob, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jimmy (in infancy). Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Sunday, March 3rd at Hillcrest Christian Church with Mark Fugate and Charlie Scott officiating.
