I spent a lot time with Carol at First Christian Church at the women's meetings and serving church dinners. She always was so sweet and caring. We worked together in many phases of our lives at First Christian Church in Dorcas Circle of CWF, Antioch Class, Chi Rho and CYF youth leaders. Carol was always a pleasure to be with. Remembering sweet Carol. I got to know her through the Bible Study we attended together. The last time we were together at Bible Study, we sang a favorite song of hers: "What a Friend We Have in Jesus". Heaven has gotten another sweet soul.

I met Carol a few years ago in a Bible Study that started by several ladies who attended Sherwood Oaks Christian church where Carol often attended. We had wonderful studies and great conversations digging into the Bible together. What a beautiful, intelligent and caring person she is. I feel privileged to have shared time with her. She is with our Lord she loves so much.

Ms. Mifflin was my Kindergarten teacher, and she became a mentor and friend as I found my way as an IU student and
Kindergarten teacher. She helped me make ends meet as a college student by letting me clean her house and do yardwork. I am forever grateful for that and our long talks at her kitchen table. Carol Ann and I were roommates at IU for sometime. We shared some happy times but one in particular stands out. When she would come in the dorm door distraught and almost in tears. It had been raining and her hair was a curly mess so she asked me if I would comb thru her hair straight “ home permanent solution as it would smooth it out, which I did. This happened several times and I always had to use the solution. We had some fun times. My condolences to Jannee and Kimora❤️your Mother was a sweet and good person!

Mrs. Mifflin was my kindergarten teacher in 1985. I would see her occasionally as an adult and she always remembered my name and would ask how my family was doing. 35 years after I was a 5 year old student in her class, I was sworn in as judge. The next day I received a card in the courthouse mail from Mrs. Mifflin offering words of encouragement, prayer, and a few pointers for the path ahead. I called her to tell her how much it meant to me. She immediately told me it was fine to call her by her first name…I could not bring myself to do so. She will always be my kindergarten teacher.

I remember a fun and happy time with Carol Ann. We were classmates at South central High School finishing our senior year. Carol Ann invited several girls over for a slumber party. We had lots of fun remembering our school years together, eating and fixing our hair in different ways and putting on more makeup than any of us were used to. I met Mrs. Mifflin in the fall of 1989. She was my first teacher at Dollens Elementary, teaching kindergarten. I had the honor of serving as her cadet teacher in the Spring of 2002. She was such a wonderful lady. She will be missed by all of those who's lives She touched.
