Obituary of Barbara Elaine Maddox

Bedford Barbara Elaine (Meadows) Maddox, 75, of Bedford, went to Heaven on Thursday, November 4, 2004 from the Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington, IN. Born April 3, 1929 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Morrel and Marjorie (Peale) Meadows. She married Roy C. Maddox on September 20, 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1985. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly Dale Patton and her husband, Kevin of Gosport, IN and Janice Elaine Ridgway and her husband, George, of Westphalia, IN; two sons, Wallace Edwin Maddox and his wife, Letitia of Bloomington and Gregory Lynn Maddox and his dear companion, Beatrice Travis; three grandchildren, Joy Ella Maddox, Gordon Drake Maddox and Ashley Kristine Patton; one great granddaughter, Elyse Nicole Brewer; two brothers, Robert E. Meadows and his wife, Louella of Bedford and Jerry Meadows and his wife, Carolyn of Bedford and her many pets. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Jimmy Wade Meadows. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 6th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Wayne Heidler officiating.
