Obituary of Chris Johnson

Bedford – Chris Johnson, 63, of Bedford, passed away at 7:40 pm on Friday, October 6, 2023, at I.U. Health University Hospital. Born September 2, 1960, in Bedford, he was the son of Charles Donald and Sondra Sue (Fender) Johnson. He was a self-employed car detailer and auto body repairman. Survivors include his mother, Sondra Johnson, of Bedford; three children, Christopher Johnson, of Mitchell, Raymond Johnson, of Bedford, and Jerry Johnson and wife, Christy, of Crothersville; four grandchildren and one due in January; a step-son, Robert Lemmons, of Mitchell; nine step-grandchildren; siblings, Debra Godsey and husband, Bob, of Oolitic, Toni Wiggs and husband, Mark, of Williams; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Private graveside services will be conducted at Dive Cemetery.
