Obituary of Mary Ray

July 14, 1943 - September 12, 2023 Bedford – Mary Ray, 80, of Bedford, passed at 2:36 pm on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Indiana University Hospital in Bloomington. Born on July 14, 1943, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Clyde and Eva (Breedlove) Burgess. She married Roger Dale Ray, and he precedes her in death. She was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School and retired in 2005 from Disney World as a custodian. Survivors include two daughters, Claudelle Livingston of Bedford, and Pamela (Bill) Squire of Groveland, FL; one son, Shaun (Karen) Ray, of Louisville; two granddaughters, Brandi Peach of Ohio, and Shandelle Peach of Florida; one grandson, Zachary Peach of Florida; five great-grandchildren, Clayton, Jace, Payton, Kion, and Jax; one sister, Malinda Delphia of Bedford; she is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son-in-law, Jim Livingston. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Day & Carter Mortuary with cremation to follow.
