Emma Ruth was my Aunt, the sister of my father, James. I loved her spunk and amusing stories. I was saddened when I called and the line was disconnected. RIP Aunt Emma Ruth.

I was Ruth's neighbor for many years. Always enjoyed her stories and candidness. I believe she had just turned 90 when she stopped mowing her yard herself and hired my son to mow it that summer. Rest in peace, Ruth.

Ruth was part of the "Golden Girls" who met every Saturday morning for breakfast at various locations. My mother, Martha Crouch, was in the group. I think there is only one of the "Golden Girls" left at the age of 95. Ruth and my mother were also neighbors at Wildridge RV Campground.
