Obituary of Robert Dale Spinks

Bedford – Robert Dale Spinks, 67, of Bedford, passed away at 7:15 pm on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital. Born April 15, 1956, in Bedford, he was the son of Noble Dale Spinks and Shirley (Marshall) Patton. He married Susan Howell on May 23, 2003, and she survives. He was a welder at Manchester Tank in Bedford for 30 years. He attended the Tunnelton United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Susan, of Bedford; a son, Jordan Spinks, of FL; five siblings, Kevin Spinks and wife, Teresa, of Springville, Tim Spinks and wife, Christina, of Williams, Linda Thorp, of Williams, Brandon Spinks and wife Kristy, of Bedford, and Neal Spinks and wife, Kortni, of Williams; several nieces and nephews; in-laws, Richard and Barbara Howell. He was preceded in death by his parents. No services or visitation is planned. Burial will be in Tunnelton Cemetery at a later date.
