Obituary of Ricky Lee Padgett

Springville – Ricky Lee “Rick” Padgett, 60, of Springville, passed away at 8:10 am on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born September 15, 1962, in Linton, IN, he was the son of James “Willkie” and Edna (Silvers) Padgett. He was an Operation Material Administrator at Crane. He loved trains, Ford Mustangs, and racing. Survivors include his mother, of Springville; a sister, Nancy Miller and husband, Darrell, of Brownsburg; two nephews, Michael Miller, of Bloomington and Ryan Miller of Brownsburg. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, May 5th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Springville Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 4th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
