My sincere Sympathy to the family, Dorothy & I were classmates and card club buddies. I will miss her and her beautiful Smile, but know she and Dick are walking hand in hand on streets of Gold! Rest In Peace to a Wonderful and Loving Couple!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.Dot was a class mate to Bill at Heltonville, along with Jan they gave him grief. I got to know Dot through Euchre Club. She was a hoot. She and Dick bought my Mother’s house after we had to move Mom in with us. It was a prayer answered by our family. Praying God will give you all his peace.
Hugs with Love, Bill & Ellen Lutes, Savannah, Ga.

Ive wrote this at least 5xs just searching for the right thing to talk about and going over how to say everything. I hope this gives you all a chuckle as your thinking of your mom or grandma.
As a kid we would go visit Dick and Dorothy often. It always felt like such a magical place to be. Dorothy would always try to feed us and then she would take me in her room and we'd go through the tons of neat little perfume bottles and all her makeup. I was never big on girly stuff, but Dorothy showing me her massive collection (especially those tiny Avon lipsticks) caused me to form such a love for it. I now have a very large (untouched) makeup and lipstick collection of my own. That's just 1 of the many, many memories I have from visiting her and Dick. Each visit was like a new adventure and always such a great time. Even educational at times. They were such amazing, loving, honest, hardworking, kind people.
I'm so sorry to each and every person that is touched by her loss. I have faith that she is exactly where she's always wanted to be. Sitting next to Dick watching over and smiling at their girls, their son in laws, and their grandkids.
