Obituary of Joshua Paul Franklin

Bedford – Joshua Paul Franklin, 37, of Bedford, passed away on March 12, 2023, in Bedford. Born July 16, 1985, he was the son of Jeff Franklin and DeeAndra (Shelton) Kerr. He was a foreman for Turner Contracting. He enjoyed boating, fishing, mudding, four-wheeling, bonfires, days by the pool, concerts, playing pool and most importantly, spending time with his family and friends. Josh will always be remembered for his contagious laugh and radiant smile. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. Survivors include his parents, Jeff Franklin and Dee Andra Kerr and husband, Jeremy, all of Bedford; his children, Joshua Braden Franklin, Isabelle Franklin, Jackson Franklin, and Easton Leatherman; siblings, Ashley and Kayla Franklin, both of Bedford; step-siblings, Devin and Aidan Kerr, both of Bedford; niece and nephews, Corbin, Trenten, and Hudson Akin, Bryer Smith and Gibson Cobb; his grandmother, Ursula Newsome; step-grandparents, Ron and Barbara Kerr, of Bedford. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 18th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bob Doss officiating. Burial will follow in Springville Cemetery West.
