Obituary of Bobby Gene Lovell

Bedford - Bobby Gene Press Lovell, 71, of Bedford, died Saturday, July 7, 2007 at his residence. Born on March 19, 1936 in Burnside, KY, he was the son of Anna Belle Lovell. He married Sandra A. Osborne in 1958. He was a 1955 graduate of Oolitic High School, a veteran of the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany for one year. He retired from Central Foundry in 1978. Survivors include his wife of 49 years; two sons, Roger Lovell of Bedford and Ernie Lovell of Evansville, IN; two daughters, Teresa Lovell and Bobbi Jo Lovell both of Bedford; three grandchildren Ashli, Maddie and Rex Lovell; one brother Tracy Silvers and his wife Hazel of Oolitic, IN; two sisters, Mildred Roberts and Etta Jean May both of Bedford; three sister-in-laws Jeanette Silvers, Judy Silvers and Wanda Osborne Anderson and her husband Steve and their son Jeff Anderson; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, his aunt and uncle Polly and William Silvers; three brothers, Carl, Jim and William (Shorty) Silvers; one sister Desda Wray Blackburn; and one nephew Gary Anderson. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 12th from the Elmwood chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Clarence Brown Officiating. Burial will follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 1:00 to 8:00pm on Wednesday July 11th and from 11:00 am until the service hour on Thursday July 12th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. View Video Tribute
