Obituary of Minerva Yvonne Hubbard

Bedford – Minerva Yvonne Hubbard, 83, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, in Indianapolis. Born January 24, 1940, in El Paso, TX, she was the daughter of Arthur and Refugio Harrison. She married Lee Hubbard on April 6, 1962 and he survives. She had been a cook at the Senior Center in Tonopah, NV and was a member of the Oolitic Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Lee, of Bedford; two sons, Eric Lee Hubbard and wife, Leticia, of Greenwood and Karl Wesley Hubbard and wife, Susan, of Anderson; two grandchildren, Selena Spear and Erica Swisher; two great-grandchildren, Daisy and Daphne Swisher; two sisters, Vyvyanne Waters, of Springdale, AR and La Verne Murphy, of Copalis Beach, WA; a brother, Arthur Harrison, of San Antonio, TX; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Camelyna Robertson and a brother, Xavier Harrison. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 9th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Jerry Jackson officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Thursday, February 9th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the White River Humane Society.
