Obituary of Rose Ann Lane Roshon

Bedford – Rose Ann Lane Roshon, 90, of Bedford, passed away at 10:51 am on Monday, January 30, 2023, at I.U. Health Hospice House. Born March 20, 1932, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Ristey and Inez Rose (Tucker) Mayo. She married Frank Ervin Lane on August 14, 1949, and he preceded her in death on May 27, 2001. She later married Lowell H. Roshon and he preceded her in death on September 27, 2007. She was a homemaker and a member of the Englewood Baptist Church. Survivors include three granddaughters, Miranda Rose Lane and Lacey Dee Lane, both of Bedford and Christina Miller and husband, David, of Spencer; a grandson, Matthew Ryan Lane, of Bedford; a great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Beth Daily, of Bedford; two great-grandsons, Landon and Isaiah Lane, both of Heltonville. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands; a son, Steven Scott Lane; a sister, Marcena Cody; brothers, Eugene Mayo and Richard Mayo (in infancy). Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 3rd in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor David Ferry officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Friday, February 3rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
