What a wonderful tribute that video is to such a wonderful guy. Thank you to the family for trusting my coworkers and me to care for Jack. It was such a privilege and he left a lasting impression on me. I will never forget that smile! I have attached a picture from our 1920's theme dinner. Such a great photo of Jack! Our family was so saddened to hear of Uncle Jack's passing. We send our love to each of you at this most difficult time. We all love Jack and have wonderful memories of the times spent together. As a youngster Alice Mae and Jack took me on some of their dates, I got to watch Jack play basketball and become an All Star, I was in their wedding and got to visit them while they lived in New Castle, Lafayette, Burke, Bedford, Springville visiting your grandparents farm and of course Jack's Darneara Farm. We always had fun whenever we got together at the Bennett household, family reunions, later for breakfast or lunch, and of course the farm. Jack was a very special and wonderful Uncle who will be sadly missed. We wanted to represent all of the other Bennett clan who couldn't attend his memorial service and burial due to being so far away but due to the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow morning it doesn't look very promising. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Love, the Spears Families . .

To Uncle Jack’s family, my cousins, I have so many wonderful memories of Jack. I remember as a child having a huge crush on him-he was “Hollywood handsome”, and I remember watching Alice put her lipstick on before Jack would come to the Bennett house…..I loved that. The last time I saw Jack was at my mom’s memorial 2 summers ago….still handsome and still so kind . My biggest love and prayers for all the Armstrong family.

My family and I are so broken hearted to hear of Grand Jack’s passing. He was one very special man! Full of life and love for his family, friends and his farm in Indiana. I loved his stories about the fainting goats, riding the tractor, and watching the baby donkey be born (with mom and baby having matching straw hats). There will never be another wonderful charming person like him! The world lost a bright ray of hope when he passed. Thinking of you all and sending much love. We were so sorry to hear about the passing of Jack. Roger and I would visit Jack at his farm, and always good conversation could be had. Jack was a wealth of knowledge, interesting, funny, kind and just an all around great guy. We always left learning something and a smile. He will be missed.
