Obituary of Jo Ellen Sutton

Bedford – Jo Ellen Sutton, 78, of Bedford, passed away at 3:58 am on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born February 23, 1944, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Joseph Clinton and Mary Jo (Dalton) Gilbert. She graduated from Manchester High School with the class of 1962. She was a slot attendant at Palace Station Casino in Las Vegas and a member of the Bedford Moose Lodge. Survivors include her daughter, Shana Eaton, and husband, Kodi, of Cahokia, IL; siblings, Jackie Short, Rose McDonald, Sandra Kay Nordhoff, Michael Gilbert, and Linda Randolph; grandchildren, Shyann Ohman, Kandyce Barnes, and Bryce Campilongo; great-grandchildren, Leon, Maliki, and Kymera. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, six sisters, and John W. Sutton. Cremation was chosen.
