Obituary of Beulah J. Helton

BedfordBeulah J. Helton, 84, of Bedford, IN and formerly of Williams, IN, passed away at 6:50 A.M. Monday, October 7th at the I.U. Health in Bedford. Born on December 1, 1928 in Lawrence County, IN, she was the daughter of Otis Nicholson and Jessie (Heady) Nicholson. She married Dewey A. Helton on January 31, 1947 and he preceded her in death on April 25, 2005. Beulah was a Homemaker and a member of the Old Union Christian Church. Surviving are two daughters, Marie Pruett and her husband, Harley of Williams and Linda Todd and her husband, Jim of Bedford; six grandchildren, Danny Pruett, Roxi Robinson, Lenny Pruett, Kenny Todd, Bill Todd and Jill Todd, thirteen great grandchildren and two great, great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one granddaughter, Kimberly M. Todd, one great grandson, Lenny Gage Pruett, a grand daughter-in-law, Lori Pruett, four brothers, Robert, Franklin, Otis Ervin and Bill Nicholson and a special friend, Juanita Quillen. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 10th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Mike Holsapple officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Day & Carter Mortuary on Wednesday, October 9th from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
