I'm so sad to hear of Kevin's death. I went to school with him at Oolitic & BNL. He was always very kind, respectful, and polite. He also attended church where my Grandma Hillenburg attended and I know he was a good Christian brother who served The Lord well. I didn't realize what his vocation was until now, but I am not surprised that he had a mission in that, too, and am sure he loved the kids and modeled well the example of Jesus. Praying that God will give each of you His peace in knowing where Kevin is and help you through your grief. Jesus is real & Kevin knows Him face to face now. Sending hugs to JoEllen, Kevin's niece and my friend.

I worked with Kevin several times. His primary concern was to make the best educational decision for the child. He and I usually agreed, but if I ever had a question Kevin would explain it. He definitely knew his craft. My condolences to his family. You will never know how much he has helped in children's lives. Brenda Boling 5th grade teacher West Washington Elementary

I enjoyed working with Kevin for almost 15 years at South Central Special Ed Co-op. He was one of the kindest & most thoughtful people I ever had the privilege to know & work with. He never missed remembering the secretaries with candy & gifts for every holiday. I know how much he loved his family & I send deepest sympathy to you all. I’m so sorry I will not be able to come in person to pay respect. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. His kindness will always be remembered. God bless you all.

I have several good memories of Kevin Lewis at Holiday and other gatherings. He was so kind and thoughtful of others. I truly enjoyed every conversation I had with him, and truly miss his presence.
