Margit is my late Grandma Herta's cousin once removed. Mike and Margit have such a special place in our hearts and lives, growing up they were like extended grandparents and made life so beautiful and warm when we visited. Just in the last 3 years or so when I was headed to VA for school from CO they opened their home to make sure I had a safe stopping point along the way. My brothers came with me; this photo is my brother Jon and Margit. Sadly I didn't take more pictures. Mike was such a lovely person, so kind and heartwarming. I will miss him very much, he gave the best hugs (along with Margit's incredible squeezes haha) and he made everyone feel cared about. I'm so glad I was able to come by again just last November with my husband Dan. Such wonderful memories. I love you Mike, God bless your sweet family.

We were so sorry to hear of mikes passing I attended need more school with Mike we also attended Gillette creek church for yrs.his parents were great people.we worked at general motors also he will be missed.prayers for his family.arnold and Shelia bell.

Mike was a sweetheart always so friendly, we went to good old Needmore High School together and we worked at GM together. Prayers for his family.

Mike and I have known each other since first grade. We went through school together, attended the Baptist church in Needmore together, and ironically ended up attending church together at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I remember when we were young I said the word shoot. He told me he considered that to be a curse word. I hadn't considered that at all, but I will always remember him correcting me. I will always remember his kindness and his gentlemanly ways toward me.
