Obituary of Bill H. Logsdon

Bedford Bill H. Logsdon, 82, of 131 Greenhill Addition, Bedford, died at 12:35 pm on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born June 9, 1927 in Oolitic, he was the son of Leslie and Lelia (Kirkman) Logsdon. He married Christine McKinney on March 13, 1947 and she preceded him in death on June 19, 2007. He was the owner of Allied Tree for twenty-five years. Survivors include one son, Sam Logsdon and wife, Sharon of Bedford; two daughters, Joyce Inman and husband, Jack and Julia Tow and husband, David all of Bedford; six grandchildren, Toby Tow and wife, Teresa of Bedford, Jeff Tow and wife, Joyce of Ninevah, IN, Melissa Kusturin and husband, Joe of Bedford, Marla Eltrevoog and husband, Jason of Seneca, IL, Jessica Soules and husband, Brian of Union, KY, Jeremy Logsdon of Terre Haute; 9 great grandchildren, Codi, Brittani, Cherith and Tanner Tow, Kacy Inman, Emily, Eli and Addie Eltrevoog, Kendall Soules; one sister, Betty Gray of Salem; two brothers, Jack and Marvin Logsdon both of Bedford and his special friend, Helen Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, siblings, Clyde Logsdon, Mary Locke, Roger Logsdon, Jean Locke, Jimmy Logsdon and Doris Grimes. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 17th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Rodney Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 16th and from 9:0 am until the hour of service on Saturday, April 17th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
