I, like so many, was a patient of Chris. He took care of me while in the ER, he was the sweetest person…ever. I’m so sorry for his family.

What can I possibly say that would do Chris justice. He was amazing, funny, dedicated, willing to help others the list could go on & on. From 1971 - 2022, Chris’s dash touched the lives of so many. His life to us was cut short but I feel so blessed that his life crossed mine. I can picture Chris smiling because that is who he was, his memory / legacy will live on because he cared & shared his life with so many. Rest In Peace. Our hearts are broken but we know you are fine. Much much love & Prayers to his mom, Robyn, the entire family & his friends.

From the first day I walked into Ascension St. Vincent Dunn five years ago, I will never forget how kind and welcoming Chris was to me. He quickly made me feel a part of the family there at Dunn. What a great nurse and precious guy he was. He will be missed so very much. My prayers are with his family and friends. Danny & Jamie Webster

What an awesome kid! I loved any time I got to spend with Chris when I helped with the Youth at Church years ago. Nancy and I would laugh until our sides hurt at his stories. Every time I saw Chris he made me feel like I was his favorite person on earth and I knew I wasn't, but he just had the ability to draw you in and make you feel extra special. I'll miss those side hugs of his. Cheryl, Robin and the rest of the family ... I won't even begin to imagine your loss, but please know you are all being held up by the prayers of those who loved Chris and you. Cheryl, I know it's been a long time, but I'm here for you if you need me.

What do you say about Chris? He was just an amazing guy! I worked with him in the ER when he was on the trucks and then after he became a nurse. He was a wonderful nurse, coworker and friend. He took care of several of my family members and it was a comfort to know he was there. I'm going to miss that look and chuckle he had right before he started to tell a story! He will be missed! My prayers to the family.

Now I had just met Chris twice at my daughter's house before they got married but I knew he was a great man with a great heart. You see my daughter hasn't laughed like the way she did when Chris was talking with her. My prayers are with you Robin, Danielle, Kristin and Cooper. My prayers will be with you all. I love you all so very much. Mom

Chris was one of the best there is. He was a genuine friend. I had the pleasure of growing up with him in Church and we hung out many weekends with our friends at the old mall & "Gator Hole!" Chris would start laughing before even starting a story or joke. We had to be careful at times when it was serious, he'd always give the "eye" at you and you had to laugh. Chris was a heck of a man, friend, nurse, medic, servant and I know deep down he was all cowboy! You'll be greatly missed Brother! My prayers to Cheryl, Robin and the family.

I have so many memories...I considered Chis a friend. I absolutely loved his stories ...what an awesome sense of humor he had!!! I used to smile every time he would lean back and look at the person signing in to the ER and ask "What is your emergency today?"

Chris was so funny! I loved working with him! He had a servant heart and did so unselfishly. He will be missed in the community for all the sacrifice he made. He was instrumental in saving my husband when he suffered a heart attack. Very professional and got him to the appropriate place he needed to be in a very quick order. He knew his job and preformed it well. Farewell, my friend.
