Obituary of Chriscynthia Gayle Robbins

Chriscynthia Gayle “Chris” (Shipman) Robbins, 75, of Bedford, passed away on November 12, 2022, at Bliss Place. Born August 29, 1947, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Otis Dale and Myra Lee (Jackson) Shipman. Chris married Dennis W. Robbins on June 5, 1966, and he survives. Survivors include her husband Dennis of Bedford; two daughters, Dale Lynn Ryan and her husband Mark, Amy McGlocklin and her husband Tony; one son, Brian Robbins and his wife Carie; her mother, Myra Shipman; five grandchildren, Jackson (Carlee) Ryan, Madison (Juan) Tirado, Dru Robbins, Tyler McGlocklin, Taylor McGlocklin; a great-granddaughter, Ruby Ryan; two brothers, Dwain (Flo) Shipman, Robin (Claudia) Shipman; sisters-in-law, Diana Megnin, Judy (Larry) Kidwell, Kim (Joe) Howell; and several nieces and nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Otis Dale Shipman. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 14th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Jeff Hudelson officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Monday at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to either Fairhaven or Kindred Hospice.
