Maxine was a very special lady. She loved the Freeman Reunions and would just be in awe of the family that Uncle Frank and his brothers and sisters had. She had a way of making you feel loved and welcome. She and my mom (Anah Colglazier) could sit and talk all day. My sympathy's are with you all.

I have known Maxine all my life, especially when my mother talked about her when they were children. My Mom (Betty Kinder connerley) and Maxine played together when they were little , and basically grew up together. Maxine was good woman, her youngest sister and I knew each other also, as well as her daughter. My condolences to the family as I am many miles away and unable to get to the funeral. Maxine let her Light shine as a child of GOD brighter each day of her long life. She wore kindness, Love & generosity as her garment every day. We so LOVED her & can still hear that beautiful alto voice “When All GODS singers get Home”
