Obituary of M. C. Little

Bedford M. C. Sam Little, 83, of Bedford died at 3:27 pm on Sunday, Ocotober 16, 2005 at the Bloomington Hospital. Born June 30, 1922 in Ball Ground, GA, he was the son of Henry and Oma (Newberry) Little. He married Barbara Jean Murphy on August 27, 1965 and she survives. He retired as the asst. fire chief for the Bedford Fire Department after thirty-four years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WW II and a member of the Gillen Post #33 American Legion and V.F.W. Survivors include two sons, Michael Little of Westlinn, OR and Larry M. Brunt of Bedford; four daughters, Jackie Little-Wilkenson of Nashville, IN; Cindy Little-Babbs of Spencer, IN, Ricci Little-Medlock of Bloomington and Robin Saunders of Springville; one brother, Cecil Little of Bedford; two sisters, Catherine Shoulty of Danville, KY and Edna Allen of Venice, FL; fourteen grandchildren, Jon, Jill, Joseph, Kelly, Kellan, Cameron, Stefan, Kayla, Amanda, Emily, Anthony, Mia, Jonathan and Tory. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Ralph and one infant sister, Virginia. Funeral Information The body will be cremated. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 22nd at the Erie United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Gary Houston and Rev. Dr. Ted Murphy officiating.
