Obituary of Timothy Brooking

Oolitic – Timothy Brooking, 73, of Oolitic, passed away at 4:24 pm on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at I.U. Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. Born April 7, 1949, in Bedford, he was the son of Henry Warren and Margaret Jane “Mickey” (Fish) Brooking. He was a graduate of Tunnelton High School with the class of 1967. He was a self-employed contractor and member of the White River Baptist Church. He loved playing guitar, harmonica, hunting, dogs, girls and fast cars. Survivors include two sisters, Emily Bridwell, of Bedford and Melissa Potts and husband, Kevin, of Louisville, KY; a sister-in-law, Melinda Brooking; several cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Phil and Kibby Brooking. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with burial in White River Baptist Cemetery.
