Uncle Vic, dad’s young brother, was a loving and generous man. He always had a story to tell, told me how much he loved me and gave great hugs. I will never forget that he, Brenda and Christi made the effort to visit Mom at the nursing home and there is a beautiful picture of them holding hands. Mom often said how much Uncle Vic looked like Dad. Knowing that Uncle was a man of faith, we can rejoice that he is now singing, telling jokes and is whole in the presence of our loving God.

Uncle Vic, is embedded in my heart of memories. He was in mom's and dad's wedding party. That Uncle Vic grin. I believe he was one of the 1st to hold me 9 months later! His infectious smile and sense of humor, brightened many a day! He led by example and faith in God that molded many a young ones life. He was always a bright spot for me. I felt really honored that when he came to Florida, and we were all going to meet up, he always asked for me to give directions, said I was the best ! I admire the devotion shown to him by his children . My deepest condolences to the Wagner family. Love, Connie Wagner

Vic was always the highlight of my day at Bliss Place. He always had a smile and memory he would share. He sure loved his children and family. I am so sorry to hear he passed but I am sure he is rejoicing at being back in the arms of his first love. Thoughts and prayers are with the family

So sorry Vic has passed, I enjoyed our phone calls this past year. I met Vic in in 1945 when I returned from the war. We were friends for 76 years and had a tons of memories of the "old days" to share. He was dating Norma, my wife June's best friend since grade school. .We double-dated quite often. Norma was June's Maid Of Honor at our May wedding and June returned the favor a Vic and Norma's July marriage.

Loved Uncle Vic! I think he was probably Uncle Vic to everybody even strangers. My fondest memory of him is the day he saved my life. (See photo) We went to Kings Island in I believe 1969 or 70 and he wanted to ride the new roller coaster (The Racer) he coaxed me to go along and on the way down the first hill I came flying out of the car and he grabbed a hold of me and pulled me back in. That was the first and last time I ever road a roller coaster. Thanks Uncle Vic! You were a hero that day just like you were every day.
Your great nephew,
Shawn Wagner
