Obituary of Carl Dale Baker

Williams – Carl Dale Baker, 65, of Williams, passed away at 6:25 pm on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at his residence. Born October 19, 1956, in Bedford, he was the son of Charles Emery Baker and Bonnie L (Flinn) Parker. He married Debra Lee Moore and she survives. He was a truck driver for the City of Bedford, Swift, and FFL, Inc. and a maintenance supervisor for CFC. Survivors include his wife, Debra, of Williams; his mother, Bonnie L. Parker; his step-mother, Karen Baker; five children, Shannon D. Baker, of Harrodsburg, Brannon L. Baker, of Ellettsville, Carl “Wayne” Baker, of Bloomington, Caleb R. Baker, and Raymond “Cole” Baker, both of Shoals; grandchildren, Samantha Marie Baker, of Bloomington, Blake M. Baker, of Ellettsville, and David A. Johnson-Baker, of Bloomington; great-grandsons, Rowan Swain Barnett and Lane Allen Barnett; six siblings, Richard “Ritchie” Baker, of Bloomington, Ronnie L. Baker, of Mitchell, Cheryl R. McLaughlin, of Mitchell, Wyatt A. Baker, Bruce D. Baker and Tracy Holland, all of Bloomfield. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Baker; his step-father, Freeman “Ray” Parker; four brothers, Danny Joe Baker, Kip Butcher, Steven R. Parker, and Michael W. Baker. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 17th at the Clover Hill Cemetery. Private visitation for family only from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
