What a sweet lady! She was always soft spoken, a Christian lady that I never heard a cross word from, and she had a heart of gold. She was my class mates mother when I was growing up, she was my daughter’s kindergarten teacher, and a cherished friend I admired. Rest in peace Janet.

I had Mrs. King in Kindergarten at Parkview. She was such a kind lady and a good teacher. She had a good sense of humor as well. I remember very proudly presenting my pretty "rooster's beak" (Cockscomb) flower at show and tell and I remember her chuckling when I called it that ❤

I appreciate all of Janet's many years of service to the Lawrence County Museum, the Springville United Methodist Church, and Spring Mill State Park. She was a wonderful role model to my sisters and me growing up, and I enjoyed volunteering with her and Larry at the museum in later years. Rest in peace, Janet, you have earned it!
