Obituary of Ralph L. Lee

Bedford- Ralph L. Lee, 56, of Bedford died at 8:15am on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Garden Villa. Ralph L. Lee was born January 25, 1958 in Seymour, IN. The son of Charles Daniel and Mary Edith (Bennett) Lee, he lived all of his life in Lawrence County. He attended Tunnelton School until the time of consolidation and graduated from Bedford North Lawrence High School in 1976, having never missed a day of school. Ralph lived his life to the fullest and by the teaching of those who influenced him the most, especially his Grandparents Ebb and Edith Bennett, and his uncles Harold and Lemuel Bennett. Ralph enjoyed John Deere tractors, freight trains, and jigsaw puzzles and would often be seen outside mowing and cutting brush. He enjoyed working several places including Spring Mill State Park and The Old Buggy Restaurant. Ralph was a member of the White River Baptist Church in Buddha where he served as an usher. Ralph is survived by his mother, Mary Edith of Bedford; two brothers: Curtis D. Lee and David L. Lee and wife Paula all of Bedford; one sister: Martha A. Hill and husband Mark of Medora; nieces and nephews, whom he adored, including Danie Norris and husband Mark of Bloomington, Tiffany Moody and husband Matt of Carmel, Kasey Franklin and husband Doug of Indianapolis, Amanda Herzner and husband TJ of Brownstown, Chelsea Lee and Steve Cassidy of Bedford, Jan Lee of Ohio, Evan Hill and wife Amanda J. of St. Louis, MO and Levi Lee and wife Victoria of Bedford; 14 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles D. Lee, one sister in law, Linda Jill Lee, one great niece Nora Moody, his maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as several aunts and uncles. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 22nd in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Kenny Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in the Tunnelton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 21st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
