Obituary of Harriett Mae Lee

Bedford Harriett Mae (Box) Lee, 71, of 422 G Street, Bedford, died at 5:56 am on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born July 28, 1938 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Milburn and Violet (Martin) Box. She married Russell E. Lee in 1957 and he preceded her in death. She retired after working twenty-nine years as an assembler and tester for RCA-Thomson Consumer Electronics. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Eagles Auxiliary. She was of the Apostolic faith. Survivors include two sons, Russell Lee, Jr. and wife, April of Bloomington, Robert Lee of Bedford; two daughters, Pam Wessel and husband, Rickey and Georgia Craig all of Bedford; two brothers, Don Box of Markelville, IN and Russell Lloyd Box and wife, Linda of Seymour; thirteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Jeff Lee and one sister-in-law, Norma Box. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 17th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Ward Humphrey officiating. Burial will follow in the Hilltop Cemetery in Avoca. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 16th and from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
