Obituary of Deborah Knust
Washington – Deborah Mengedoht-Knust, 63, of Washington, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at her residence.
Born October 27, 1957, in Linton, IN, she was the daughter of Kenneth Mengedoht and Sylvia (Auberry) Thomas. She married Kenneth Knust on June 15, 1992, and he survives. She was a retired machine operator at General Motors.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth of Washington, mother, Sylvia Thomas of Conway, SC, one son, Curtis Smith and wife Jasmine of Vincennes, two grandchildren, Eleanor and Shelby, a stepdaughter, Shelly Knust and spouse Teresa Voorhees of Franklin, IN, two sisters, Connie Green and husband Jerry of Jasper and Heather Earl and husband Damon of Rockhill, SC and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth, a sister, Pamela Bontempt and a stepdaughter, Charity Knust.
