Sherri is my best friend Keesha’s mother. We spent a lot of time together this summer at the Heltonville ball field. She would always ask if we needed anything from the concession stand. She always came back with a popcorn and a big red. She talked about how much she loved the Amish strawberries. She was so excited and scared that she was retiring. She told me all she wanted to do was spend time with her grandbabies and mend her garden. She said she let her garden go because she worked so hard. she planned on having the best garden around after her retirement. She never had the chance or opportunity to celebrate her retirement. Her mind was full of all the memories she planned on making.I am heartbroken for her children and grandchildren. They will forever Be heartbroken and have a hole in their hearts. Gone way too soon.

I'm writing on behalf of myself and my parents, Fred & Sarah Norman. Sherri was the best mail carrier we have ever had. We were so disappointed for ourselves when she retired, but happy for her that she would get to spend time in her garden and with her grandchildren. Your family hasn't had time to grieve Jerry yet and now Sherri. I'm so very sorry for your losses. Two very special people taken way too soon. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers.
