Obituary of Michael L. Leathers

Bedford-Michael R. Leathers, 53, of 3905 Washington Ave. Bedford died at 12:29 A.M. on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Dunn Memorial Hospital in Bedford. Born December 1, 1955 he was the son of Don and Nellie Stewart. He was the terminal manager for Relco in Bedford. He was a Viet Nam veteran serving with the US Navy. Survivors include his parents Don and Nellie Stewart of Cuba, MO; one son: Jason Leathers of Bloomington; one granddaughter Emma Leathers of Bloomington; two brothers: Joe Leathers and his wife Judy of Cuba, MO, and Mark Leathers and his wife Cindy of Cuba, MO; one sister: Donna Green and her husband Bob of Blue Eye, MO, several nieces and nephews; one very special friend: Genia Ray of Mitchell. He was preceded in death by one son Jacob Leathers. Funeral Information A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 16th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Monday.
