Jim and family, so sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. He was such a nice guy and always friendly. I didn’t realize or had forgot he was involved in starting baseball that I enjoyed so much at Oolitic, and then the biddy ball in which my Dad and I had the blessing of coaching my sons so many years later. Think of all the lives that were brightened by his efforts in helping kids and their families. May God carry you all until you see him again in the Lord’s presence. Thanks Jerry for caring about others and for passing that onto your family.

Jerry was my biddy ball coach . Had a lot of good times playing for him . I would see him down at Springville post office we would recall are biddy ball years .

Jerry was a great man. He coached my big biddy basketball team and was always encouraging myself and others to do their best. He definitely made a positive impression on many boys during the many years he devoted his time coaching and officiating.

Jerry was a great man. I enjoyed coaching against Jim and him in jr. high games. He always had a good comment to say and a smile on his face. His legacy will continue through his kids and his grandkids. Heaven just got another angel. God Bless the family

Jerry was a tremendous and caring man who made such an impact on so many young men who grew up playing basketball and baseball in the Oolitic leagues. He was our coach, our ride and a mentor to all of us on how to treat players and kids ( with love). I think that it's no coincidence that there has been so many middle and high school coaches come out of those Oolitic leagues, we received that passion from Jerry.
