Obituary of Dras B. Tirey

Oolitic – Dras B. Tirey, 32, of Oolitic, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 in Bedford. Born July 11, 1988 in Monroe Co., he was the son of Robert D. and Pamela K. (Stannard) Tirey. He was a die cast setter for General Motors in Bedford and a member of U.A.W. Local #440. Dras was an avid walker who loved walking in the state parks with his mom or friend, Carrie. He loved working at the wood shop with his dad and uncle Don. He enjoyed outdoor grilling and other adventures. He loved life. Survivors include his parents, of Oolitic; a brother, Garry Tirey (Samantha), of Springville; a half-brother, Ritchie Tirey (Paula), of Bedford; a half-sister, Terri Turner (Randy), of East Oolitic; nephews, Maxwell, Alexander, and Bennett Tirey, Ky and Chad Turner; a niece, Jencie Brown. He was preceded in death by a half-brother, Garry L. Tirey. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 15th at Patton Hill Cemetery with his uncle, Don Tirey officiating.
