We are so sorry to hear of John's passing. He was such a gentle man. He was so hardworking and could fix anything. We became acquainted with him when Rose went into business with our precious mom. Mom, Margie Sherrill, Aunt Maxine Allen & Cousin Beth Snead and Rose owned VIP Fashions and John was ALWAYS the handyman who fixed whatever needed to be done. Those friendships lasted their lifetimes. What greater gift?

John and Rose were such a large part of our parent's life during the time we were adult kids. They advised each other, they supported each other. Such a wonderful friend he was. Virtual hugs and much love to all John's kids and grandkids. When you have services in the spring, please let us know. The Waltz's want to be there with you.

So sorry for your loss. So glad we got to be around your dad at times. He was a great guy. Rose and John and my mom and dad- the stories, fun, card playing, trips and adventure they shared. We will always treasure the memories of your parents. Kamala Waltz Blevins

Mike, John and Jennifer so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was such a sweet person. I remember going to the house in Englewood often (was just down the street) and especially for a Halloween party. I think your parents had as much fun as the kids.
Sympathy, Karen Owens Hacker
