Obituary of Wilma Webster

Bedford – Wilma Johnson Webster, 97, of Bedford, passed away at 10:20 am on Friday, November 20, 2020 at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital. Born May 21, 1923, in Martin Co., she was the daughter of William McKinley and Annabelle (Chastain) Johnson. She was a homemaker and member of the Hillcrest Christian Church. She married Haskell “Doc” Webster and he preceded her in death on August 18, 1994. Survivors include her children, Wanda Piper, Gloria Skeen, Jeana Cox, Roger Webster, Linda Miller and husband, Steve, and Iris Jo Sego and husband, Ernest; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren, and 9 great great-grandchildren, and countless numbers who considered her as family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Harold Eugene, and Gerald McKinley Johnson. Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, November 24th, 2020 at Cresthaven Memory Gardens with her nephew Delbert Wray officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation in Wilma’s name may be made to the local Food Banks. Wilma was loved by many and will be missed by all.
