Karen, Kylie & Whitney~ We send our love and sympathy to you as we know the emptiness you are now experiencing. Opal made all of us smile! I remember how he cherished you girls when you were little and I know "Great" Violet and "Great" Tobias brought joy to him in his later years!!! Keep his memory alive!!
Much Love,
Mike and Nancy Davis

Dear Karen, I was so very sorry to read of your dads passing. When my mother lived in her apartment on Illinois Street, your dad would often be out walking. He always made a point to smile and wave and sometimes stop to talk if we were outside. My heartfelt condolences to you and all the family.

I knew Opal from Bliss Place - we ate many meals together before the quarantine and health issues changed. I found out quickly that Opal was a kind soul with a quirky sense of humor. Actually he was hilarious! I'll miss my friend RIP Opal. John Slate

I never knew his name... For MANY years, ANYTIME I saw him in the stores in town he would say hello and tell me a joke (Some really good ones too!) and wish me a good day. I haven't seen him for many months and wondered what happened to him. May God receive his soul into the glorious Kingdom of Heaven.
