Obituary of Joyce A. King

Bedford – Joyce A. King, 75, of Bedford, passed away at 9:30 pm on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Stonebridge Health Campus. Born March 31, 1945 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Fred O. and Lucille (Davis) Canada. She married David King on September 16, 1966 and he survives. She was a homemaker and member of T.O.P.S and the New Union Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, David, of Bedford; her beloved cat, Cinnamon; two brothers, Jim Canada and wife, Brenda and Gordon Canada and wife, Mary, all of Bedford; three sisters, Wanda Tincher, Judy Bell, and Phyllis Stout and husband, Marvin, all of Bedford; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, November 11th at the New Union Christian Church with Pastor Mike French officiating. Burial will follow in the New Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Wednesday, November 11th at the church.
