Sherry, the Powell family sends our love. We were so blessed to be your neighbors and friends for many years. Your mom adopted me when I was in Bible college, so I was doubly blessed. Joann was a very special lady, one in a million doesn’t say it well enough. She lived her life the way the Lord would want us all to live, smiling, laughing, caring about others, loving her family and being faithful to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. She was a wonderful blessing and I hope my mind never fails to remember the times putting up hay with Joann, Uncle Paul, Wayne and Ruth with Danny, Jimmy and Duane and Tracy and Toby. Uncle Paul and then dear Jim were blessed to have her as their wife, and we were blessed to have her in our lives. No more pain or suffering for Joann, her faith has been made sight, thank you Jesus. We will always love you, Joann. The Fish and Alhorn Families

Every time the doors at Mt Pleasant Christian Church were open, Joann was there. She was a great example of what a Christian should be. She was dearly loved by so many. Precious Joann is FINALLY enjoying her rewards in heaven!
