Obituary of Jack Martin

Bedford – Jack Martin, 68, of Bedford, passed away at 9:00 pm on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born July 20, 1951, in Bedford, he was the son of John David and Edna (Turpen) Martin. He graduated from the Heltonville High School. He retired from Manchester Tank in 2008. Jack enjoyed going to movies, dining out at his favorite restaurants, time he spent visiting with family, hunting, sightseeing, and spending time in the woods.. Survivors include two brothers, Robert Martin and wife, Paula, and James Martin and wife, Lynette; two nieces, Holly Martin and Jamie (Brian) Hutchinson; a nephew, Greg (Jeanette) Martin; four great nieces, Courtney (Matthew) Tomey, Brooke Martin, Amy Martin and Jolee Young; one great nephew, Landon Young; one great-great niece, Autumn Tomey. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jerry Martin (MIA/POW), and nephew, Joseph Martin. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday July 20th at the Mundell Cemetery with Pastor Taylor Brown officiating.
