Please accept my condolences at the loss of your Aunt Evelyn.I never got to meet her or her husband as I live in Elkhart, IN, which is in Northern Elkhart County near the Michigan state line. A Canadian cousin, who is very much into geneology,saw Evelyn's obit and has been trying to trace Douglas's line back to his ancestors, but can't get anywhere...please forgive me for asking at this time...but if anyone can shed any light on Mr. Stutsman's side of the family, I would greatly appreciate an email sent to me at jampg@frontier.com Again, I am sorry to hear of your loss. Remembering when we visited our dear cousins, Doug and Evelyn, when they lived in Bedford. We always enjoyed our visits so much and our kids, pre-teens at that time, always loved those times! After Doug passed, we visited Evelyn and thoroughly enjoyed remembering the "Good Ole Days." However, you could tell, she missed Doug immensely and said when her work on earth was done, she was really looking forward to the time when she would see him again, along with her other family members. What a grand reunion there must be in Heaven right now! Our loss is Heaven's gain. Love, Gerald and Sherry Courtney

Evelyn and Doug were our neighbors out on Vinegar Hill. They were so welcoming and such fun to be with. We loved our drives we took and time we had. Evelyn missed Doug so much. Glad they are together.

I remember coming to visit you and your mom and dad and sisters and brother when I was just a kid. My mom and dad use to come visit. You were my dad's cousin (Robert B. Hall). We use to have a great time. I haven't been to see you for so many years. RIP Evelyn! Donna Hall Ferguson
