Her contagious Smile and her Heart for myself drew me to Ruth. She sponsored Myself & Husband on an Emmaus Walk which she loved, as well as Loved us! I was fortunate to be in a Bible Study she led also. My reason for knowing her well was the fact we both served on a Ministry to Women in Bedford, IN Christian Women’s Club. Her love for her Savior was truly lived out in all she did. Karen Ruble co-laborer w Ruth.

From what I remember I knew Marjorie for a very short time at the Center for Women's Ministries after meeting some ladies at a meeting late one night just by accident that I don't think it really was. From what I remember she was the one that welcome my friend and I and we sat and talked after we prayed together and they finish their meeting. We were welcome to help out at the center and very much enjoyed it for as long as we were able to. Even though that was probably somewhere between the early part of the 2000 to mid 2000's I'm still thankful for those memories. Prayers for all my family and friends

Ruthie adopted us as grandchildren when I was very young. She was the best grandma anyone could ask for. Going to Ruthie's for sleepovers was my absolute favorite thing. We would cook yummy food, bake cookies, watch funny movies, play games, and she would brush my hair for me. Ruthie was kind, thoughtful, and understood the deep need we had for a grandmother and love. I am so sad that I cannot make it to the funeral, as I live far away from Indiana. But my spirit is there and I am sending so much love to everyone. Ruthie was the kind of person I want to be more like.

Ruth was a great example of what God intended for all of his disciples to be. She did it with grace, honor and love. She gave us all at the church unconditional love and set a high standard of servitude and faithfulness unequaled to many. She leaves her place in our congregation that can never be filled. It was an honor and pleasure to have known and loved her. My husband Gary and I pray that God will send her family peace and comfort in this great time of sorrow.Sympathy to all.
