Obituary of Bonnie Kay Rainey
Bloomington-Bonnie Kay Rainey, 76, of Bloomington died at 8:14pm on Friday, January 31, 2020 at the Hearthstone Health Campus in Bloomington.
Born October 2, 1943 in Newburg, MO, she was the daughter of William and Virginia (Alexander) Willis. She married Charles Marion Rainey on June 7, 1963 and he preceded her in death on July 1, 2005. She retired from PRD and had previously worked at RCA in Bloomington.
Survivors include her three children: Debra Rugenstein of Slosberry, Beverly Prince of Bloomington, Steven Rainey and his spouse, Roy Allen of Shelbyville; six grandchildren: Casey Rugenstein, Alissa Rugenstein, Joshua Prince, Jessica Prince, Mathew Prince, and Olivia Prince; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Michael Rainey, a sister, Audrey Martin, and three brothers, Duke Willis, Ronald Willis, and Roger Willis.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 4th at the Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg, with Pastor David Ferry officiating. Per Bonnies wishes there will be no visitation.
