Obituary of Rosemary Manzenberger

Oolitic – Rosemary Manzenberger, 89, of Oolitic, passed away at 5:53 am on December 14, 2019 at Johnson’s Christian Village.

Born July 19, 1930 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Ralph and Laverne (Norman) Todd. She married Frank Calvin Manzenberger on May 1, 1948 and he preceded her in death on February 14, 2011. She was a graduate of the Heltonville High School. She retired as the vice-president of the Citizens National Bank and was the first woman to hold that position in Lawrence County. She was a member of the Hillcrest Christian Church where she was a musician.She was a missionary forwarding agent for several years. She began her musical career with the Heltonville Melody Girls.

Survivors include her children, Lynn D. Manzenberger, of Heltonville, Shelley Fox and husband, Jerry, of Bedford, Donald E. Manzenberger, of Bedford; grandchildren, John David Manzenberger, Jeffrey Manzenberger, Jay Dustin Fox (Tammy), Jeremy Fox and wife, Jennifer, Natasha Martin and husband, Bill, Avery Rose Manzenberger, Abbey Quinn Smith, and husband, Hunter, Alex Ben Manzenberger; great grandchildren, Matalie Rose Martin, Wyatt Martin, Maverick Martin, Jachin Fox, Dustin Fox (Haley), Noah Calvin Manzenberger, Emma Rose Manzenberger; a great great granddaughter, Marina Fox; a sister, Ruth Ballantyne, and husband, Bob, of Bedford; a brother,  Jerry Todd, of Salem; sisters-in-law, Rowena Todd, of Heltonville, Sue Todd, of Chattanooga, TN, and Alpha McKnight, of Heltonville; an aunt, Rita Norman. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, Donald, William, and John Todd; a sister, Barbara Bundy; a grandson, Thomas George.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 17^th at the Hillcrest Christian Church with Pastors Charlie Scott and Charlie Delaney officiating. Burial will follow in the Mundell Christian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 16^th at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Tuesday, December 17^th at the Hillcrest Christian Church. Pallbearers are Wyatt Martin, Maverick Martin, Jachin Fox, Dustin Fox, Noah Manzenberger. The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to Hillcrest Christian Church Building Fund or the Mundell Cemetery.
