Obituary of Marian G. Pettyjohn

 Marian G. Pettyjohn, 88, of Bedford, died at 6:18 am on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Garden Villa Nursing Home Bedford.

Born August 20, 1931 in Linton, she was the daughter of Ora and Jennie (Ford) Roberts.  She married Robert Pettyjohn and he preceded her in death on April 2, 2014.  She worked at Sarkes Tarzian and was owner/operator of Marian’s Homecooking in Oolitic.

Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl Kyle and husband Jeremy of Bedford; two sons, Larry Holmes and wife Donna of Bedford, Robert Holmes of Bedford; five grandchildren, Brad Holmes and wife Heather, JR Holmes and wife Shelly, Ashley White and husband Ben, Nichole Ashcraft and husband John, and Lillianne Holmes; and eight great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Marvin Roberts, and one sister, Betty Roberts.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 3^rd at Owensburg Cemetery.  Burial will follow in Owensburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 3^rd from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Day&Carter Mortuary.
