Obituary of Randy Joel Norman

 Randy Joel Norman, 48, of Bedford, died at 6:11 pm on Friday, August 23, 2019 at University of Louisville Hospital.

Born July 29, 1971 in Lawrence County, he was the son of Ervin and Rita K. (Lantz) Norman.  He married Stacey Anderson and she survives.  He was a maintenance supervisor at Evergreen in Bloomington.

Survivors include Stacey Norman of Bedford; his mother, Rita Norman of Bedford; one step- daughter, Stacia Kern of Bedford; one grandson, Kaysin Hacker of Bedford; one brother, Richard Norman and wife Debbie of Bedford; and a niece and nephews, Laura, Drew and Dylan Norman.  He was preceded in death by his father, Ervin Norman; and a sister, Jennifer Norman.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 28^th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary.  Burial will follow in Gilgal Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 27^th at Day & Carter Mortuary, and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Wednesday.
