So many memories of laughter in the 3 story house on campus. We had good times. I remember staying in Ben's parent's house. Howard and I sure enjoyed her Sunday dinner rolls. Over the years, it was great to see you, usually at IHC. Our hearts are saddened with his death. But we will see him again. Praise the Lord

Ben and Sue like peanut butter and jelly belonged together. The first time I met them I was impressed with their seamless delivery of the gospel in song and message. Ben during a very low time in my life walked in and believed in me. He came to my defense and showed himself a great friend. I will always remember working together in camp meetings and revivals, the humor Ben brought to all situations. His positive outlook lifted my spirits and his prayers for me encouraged my heart. Heaven has become sweeter at the passing of Ben Colburn. Ben, you have outran me in the race but I’ll see you at the gates.

We share with the Colburn family at the passing of Ben. Our friendship with Ben and Sue reaching back almost 50 years. Ben will be missed by many people. I will miss his music and his wonderful sense of humor. May God bless each family member and others who are touched by grief.
