Obituary of Charles H. Dorsett

Bedford- Charles H. Dorsett, 86, of Bedford died Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Garden Villa in Bedford.

Born June 27, 1932 in Lawrence County, IN he was the son of Adrian and Catherine (Hicks) Dorsett.  He married Vera Nadine Thompson on December 2, 1951 and she survives. He retired from General Motors as a tool and die maker. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and the UAW Local #440. 

Survivors include: his wife Nadine of Bedford, one daughter, Karen Tincher and husband Tom of Bedford; one son, Randy Dorsett and wife Cindy of Bedford; three grandchildren: Toby Tincher and wife Marcy, Andy Dorsett and wife Melissa, and Amber King and husband Barry; seven great grandchildren: Gavin, Aaliyah, and Zepher Tincher, Ava and Joel Dorsett, Duncan and Elizabeth King; his niece and caretaker, Sherry Taylor of Bedford. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Paul Dorsett. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 20^th at the First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Bill McKee officiating.  Burial will follow in the Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 am until the hour of service on Wednesday.
